Quick and Simple

As with the “setting” procedure , knife changing is made easier by use of disc magnets mounted under the base of the gibs. In practice, the old knives can all be untensioned and removed without worry that the gibs and wedges will fall out of the head prior to new knife installation. The magnets will hold the gibs and wedges in their relative places after knife removal for quick and simple replacement of new knife steel.
